Description
The purpose of the exhaust gasket is to limit heat transfer from the cylinder head to the intake manifold.
By lowering the temperature of the intake manifold, we increase the air density.
With a cooler intake manifold, the engine gets more oxygen, allowing it to produce more power and torque.
At the very least, it helps maintain current levels when the engine is subjected to stress and heat on the track.
