Auto Verdi was founded in 1988 by Stefan Verdi, who originally produced a rotary handle for racing cars.
In 1996, Steen Skodborg joined the company as co-owner and chief engineer, and the company expanded its production line to include oil pumps.
The first major victory with the Auto Verdi oil pump was achieved in 1998 with Paul Gentilozzi in the Trans-Am series.
Other great championships include consecutive wins in NHRA Pro Stock since 2002 and several NASCAR titles.
