MW-Steel’s WRC-style Dual Plenum 2-chamber intake manifold DIY build kit comprising a conical tube (primary chamber) and pressure box (secondary chamber).
This DP-intake manifold’s operation is based on Swiss physicist Bernoulli’s Principle, whereby in a tapered/conical pipe, the pressure ofĀ liquids and gases decreases while their flow speed increases. This results in uniform pressure and air flow distribution across all cylinders for maximum power, torque and engine longevity
The engine is easier to tune when all cylinders receive the same amount of air and can thus be set with the same optimized ignition advances. It will run harmoniously, making it easier to avoid knocking and other non-desired effects compromising engine reliability and lifetime.
The build kit components are of lightweight, strong, corrosion resistant and highly machinable and weldable Al-6082 grade aluminiumĀ alloy, which is 5 times stronger than pure aluminum.
The cone tube can be flexibly positioned on the pressure box, facing front or back, according to the boost pipe entry direction, and left or right, according to available space in the engine compartment.The build kit components are of lightweight, strong, corrosion resistant and highly machinable and weldable Al-6082 aluminium grade alloy, which is 5 times stronger than pure aluminum.
The delivery includes covers for both ends of the cone tube (flow-optimized cap for narrow end and cover plate for inlet end) as well as a support rod for the cone’s air exit slit to prevent slit from expanding under extreme high pressure conditions.

This 650 mm /25.6″ kit is recommended for 5 and 6-cylinder as well as V10 and V12 engines.
