Downpipes

HJS offers a wide range of EU No 103 tested tuning downpipes.
This Regulation describes uniform conditions for the approval of replacement catalytic converters for motor vehicles and is valid in all countries which have acceded to the European Economic Commission.
Germany and Finland are members of this Agreement.   The ECE Tuning downpipe can be used as a spare part for a standard catalytic converter, provided that the vehicle type concerned is listed in the catalytic converter approval area.
No modification to the vehicle documentation is required for approval or repair.
However, the vehicle’s transmission (engine, gearbox, engine control unit, etc.) must be in standard condition.
HJS uses better flowing catalytic converters in the downpipes which improve the engine’s throttle response and increase power.
