HKS Clutches

The HKS LA Clutch (Light Action) combines precise high power transmission from the engine to the gearbox, while providing an easy-to-use clutch feel that is particularly noticeable when the clutch is half engaged.
Suitable for street or sport use, the LA Clutch is a single plate clutch that can handle around 450hp / 500nm.
The LA Clutch is a complete kit that includes the clutch plate, pressure setting and flywheel.
The newly designed “MG Composite disc” has been developed to reduce vibration and allow the same driving feel as the OEM clutch, yet with more power.
The disc damper also reduces shock and stress on transmission components. The main concept of the HKS Twin Plate LA Clutch remains the same, but with the introduction of two plates and a torque capacity of 700hp/800nm.
The use of “MG composite plates” to reduce vibration and achieve a better driving feel compared to the OEM clutch.
Disc dampers are used to reduce gearbox noise and protect the gearbox from impact torque.
The LA Twin also features a “Pivot Ring” in the pressure plate to provide partial shifting.
