Weldable inconel insulations for exhaust pipes and exhaust manifolds.
We have manufactured inconel insulators for hundreds of vehicles.
The technology and materials that have come from experience have been established over 10 years and we can tell you that a big part of the insulation work is the composition of the wool and the direction of the fibre, wrapping the wool around the pipes.
We use wool reinforced with inconel thread running through the wool at 10mm intervals.
The yarns prevent the wool from breaking up and moving under the tin shell.
Otherwise, in a vertical section or after several thermal cycles, the problem can be the movement of the wool under the shell, which in turn leads to reduced thermal insulation.
As a surface shell we use Inconel sheeting and not RST materials which have much weaker properties at high temperatures.
We manufacture our products from the best materials available.
