Weldable inconel insulations for exhaust pipes and exhaust manifolds. The lower layer is a 10mm thick fibreglass reinforced ceramic wool and the top layer is a 0.2mm thick inconel 625 LCF sheet.The combination has a heat resistance of 1600°C The wool is completely sealed under the inconel 625 LCF sheet and thus the wool cannot wear or be damaged in use… This type of insulation is commonly seen in WRC, WTCC, RX Supercar and F1 cars. Micro-welded Inconel insulation is a bespoke job and is always priced individually. Ask for a price with a picture.
