ATS’ lightweight, high-temperature carbon fibre composite switches are exceptionally durable and long-lasting. They are renowned for their resistance to torsion, long life, light weight and good feel. ATS clutch features:
– 9″ carbon fibre composite friction plate with high torsional resistance
– ultra-light clutch plate provides excellent shift feel and smooth torque response
– rated max power endurance measured at the wheels:
– Spec-1: 1 plate 400 hp / 520 NM, twin plate 670 hp / 680 NM, 3 plate 1000 hp / 1030 NM
– Spec-2: 1-plate 530 hp / 580 NM, twin plate 720 hp / 716 NM, 3-plate 1200 hp / 1300 NM Certain Mitsubishi, Mazda and Nissan models are also available with the Pull-type clutch, which features ATS’s patented double-locking mechanism, making the pedal feel significantly lighter and easier to use than comparable factory clutches. Note! The carbon fibre clutch is not recommended for repeated clutch slipping, the resulting high temperatures can cause distortion of the spacers and pressure setting and possible clutch disengagement problems. For this purpose, a so-called full carbon clutch is available, which also has carbon fibre spacers. Ask for more information about these if necessary.
